About the C.R.I.C.

The Canons Regular of the Immaculate Conception are a religious order of Priests, founded by Fr Adrien-Marie-Etienne Gréa, following the rule of St Augustine. The title was given to the Order by Pope Pius XI.

The first C.R.I.C. community to be set up in the United Kingdom was founded by Fr Frances Burgess in 1937. While in many countries the C.R.I.C. have more than one Parish, there is currently only one in England.
